Here is my story:

My name is Raya a 7 year old female who was found along with my son Remi by community members in Calvinia where we were left to die after our owner moved and clearly no longer wanted us. Our founders then contacted Majestic to help get us back in shape and into loving homes once ready. Remi was loose but I was tied to a pole with a chain so he could go and get food for himself but I was severly starved for 4.5 weeks with no water and no food. My little body weighing only 21.8kg where I should be at least 45kg based on the size of my bone structure. My ears are eaten raw as well as a pressure sore on my pelvic bone. Due to the extent of my condition my coat had grown in thicker to try and keep me from freezing to death. I am now eating 6 small meals a day to promote natural slow weight gain along with muscle ass. Any donations towards my care will be deeply appreciated. Once I am healthy I will be sterilised and placed up for adoption.

 

I would love to have a foster home to help me heal and get back to what I once was, although I have forgotten what that life looked like.
